Ordering after the deadline

Please note that the school will not accept envelopes after the deadline.

Q: Is it possible to order after the deadline has passed?

A: Yes, your access code is valid an entire year. However, shipping and handling will be added to your bill. Allow a period of 4 to 8 weeks for delivery. Your order will be sent by the quickest method (school or home).

Q: Is it possible to come at your office instead of home delivery?

A: Unfortunately, we are not a studio open to the public. It is therefore not possible to pick up your order in person.


Family (2 childrens or more)

 

Q: Is it possible to order the photos of my children at the same time?

A: Unfortunately you need to do one order for each acces code.

Q: If I place an order for my 2 children, is my third order (family photos) is free?

A: Unfortunately, the discount for the third child (see restrictions on the back of the envelope, green box at the bottom) applies only for individual photos and it is not available online.

Q: Is it possible to have individual pictures of my two children in the same collection?

A: Unfortunately, our collections are based on one child picture and not per family. It is therefore not possible to combine two photos of different access codes in a collection.


Retakes

 

Elementary :

Q: Do you offer retake for elementary schools? What are the dates?

A: Yes! Here is the procedure for this. Since you want to retake photos of your child, you simply have to return the envelope and write RETAKE on the order side. Also make sure that the section with your child's name is filled out. This procedure applies to all schools we serve.

Here is information for the Conseil des écoles catholiques du centre-est :
The retake date is December 6, 2017. Details will be sent to you via the school in late November.

Here are the dates for the following school boards: CSRDN, CSLaval and CSDM:
The retake date is December 4 & 5, 2017. The details will be sent to you via the school towards the end of November

Q: What are the fees for the retake?

A: There are no fees for the elementary schools retakes.

Q: Do we need to take an appointment?

A: No appointment is necessary.

Q: Will we receive the photos before the holidays?

A: The photos will be delivered to the school before Christmas.

 

High school :

Secondary 5: The pose without mortarboard (hat) taken at the first session, will be automatically used for the mosaic and the yearbook. It can not be changed by the retake one.
 

Q: Do you offer retake for high schools? What are the dates?

A: Yes, we offer retake directly to the school for high school. For 2017-2018, the dates are:

Q: What are the fees for the retake?

A: There are no fees for students in grades 1 to 4 and absents. On the other hand, graduates who wish to retake their photographs, a fee of $10 per photo apply (payable the day of retake).

Q: Will we receive the photos before the holidays?

A: The photos will be delivered to the school no later than December.


Promotional code

Q: How do I get a promotional code?

A: Promotional codes are a gift to school staff members and volunteers. No other promotional code are given.


Staff and volunteers

Promotional codes can not by apply on shipping, handling fee and Internet fee.

Q: Where do I enter the promotional code given to me the photos day?

A: When you are in your cart, click PROMOTIONAL CODE, enter your code and you will receive the discount.

Q: I am a school staff member and my promotion code does not apply when I enter it.

A: Your code is valid only on collections or packages. So, if you have selected a photo items and/or a touch up, the discount will not apply.


Background Choice

Q: Do we have to choose the same background as on the envelope?

A: No, on the web site you have are more than 300 choices available.


Packages

Q: I would like to order a collection , but I prefer the right side photo. Can I receive 2x the same pose ?

A: Yes, you can order 2x the same pose by selected it 2 times.

Q: Is it possible to change the format included in a package or collection ?

A: All collections and all packages must be ordered as is, without changes. You can add an additional sheet for an affordable price.

Q: What is the measurement unit of your photos?

A: All sizes are in inches and approximate.

Q: Will I receive my photos already cut?

A: We offer very competitive prices, therefore the assembly and the cutting are not included and are not available.

Q: Can I order black and white photos?

A: Black and white formats are available in the Collection 3 and photo items (# 25). An additional photo, in black and white version, is available of the left photo only.

Q: Is it possible to have individual pictures of my two children in the same collection?

Digital Files

Q: What is a digital file?

A: A digital file is an electronic image that allows you to make your own prints with your printer or/and in stores offering print service.

Q: Do we receive print with the purchase of digital files?

A: No print included with your digital file.

Q: How will I receive the digital files ?

A: They are sent via e -mail. We will use the address you provided when you create your account.

Q: When will I receive my digital files?

A: The digital files will be sent within 2 to 4 weeks after the due date on your envelope.

Q: I have not received any email from you regarding my purchase of digital files?

A: Maybe our email was classified as spam (junk mail inbox). Check in this folder before contacting us via phone or claims.

Q: Why $5 handling fee are charged for my purchase of digital files?

A: After the deadline, these costs are charged for the handling and the additional time required to process your order, separately from the rest of the school.


Photo items

Q: Is it possible to change the photomontage offered?

A: All photomontage must be ordered as is, without changes.

Q: How many picture are included in the photo items?

A: The products always include only one pose with his background.


Payment method

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards, Visa and Mastercard prepaid cards and Visa Debit cards.

Q: Why free delivery to school is not available to me?

A: Once you past the deadline, only the home delivery is available. However, your order will be sent by the quickest method (school or home).

Q: Why $5 handling fee are charged for my purchase of digital files?

A: After the deadline, these costs are charged for the handling and the additional time required to process your order, separately from the rest of the school.

Q: How do I proceed if there is an error in my order?

A: You should send us a picture of your envelope (top to bottom) or the PDF invoice for a online order (sent via e-mail during the transaction). Everything need to be emailed to the following address, studio@photomania.ca, including a description of the error.

Delivery Time

Q: Once my order is placed, how soon will I receive my photos?

A: For every purchase made before the deadline, allow 2 to 4 weeks for the receipt of your order.

For purchases made after the deadline, allow up to 8 weeks for delivery. Your order will be sent by the quickest method (school or home).


Additional group picture (elemantary school)

Q: I have not received the group picture of my child, how can I have one?

A: We offer a free 5x7 copy of the class photo for each student of elemantary school, plus 4 extra copies. Pictures are given to the teachers and they make distribution. The method of distribution varies from one teacher to another.

However, if you want an extra copy, the cost is $ 10 per copy. You will find in the section TOUCH UP a drop down menu, select ADDITIONAL GROUP PICTURE and indicating in the comments your child's group number. Repeat the action for each child, if you have an order with more than one access code.


Touch up

Please note that we do not change the physical appearance of faces, glasses (straighten), clothing (remove an accessory) and hair (other than wild hair).

It is possible to come to the retake, if you are not satisfied with the pictures.


Passcode lost or unavailable (separated parents)
 

Q: I do not have access to the envelope or sheet with the access code for my child and I would like to order pictures, what can I do?

A: Send us a message via CONTACT US with the school name and group number. We will proceed with the identification of your child and send you back his access code.


Q: How long do you keep the pictures?

A: We keep school pictures for a period of one year.
